Danny joined Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) in 2010 after graduating from the CCCU Business School with a First Class Honours in Business Studies and Human Resource Management. Danny has worked in the Faculties of Health & Wellbeing and Education as a Programme Administrator, as well as Human Resources and Organisational Development in the role of Staff Development Co-Ordinator.
Danny joined the Learning Technology Team in January 2014 as Learning Technology Support Officer (LTSO), supporting and complementing the Learning Technologists by providing technical systems administration and second-line specialist support for staff. During his time as Learning Technology Support Officer, Danny has supported the upgrading of the Blackboard Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and continues to support the ongoing development of the University VLE.
Danny’s current academic interests include audience participation systems and the use of social media within learning and teaching.
Danny is an Ordinary Member with the Association for Learning Technology (ALT), and is currently studying towards a MA in Online and Distance Education (MAODE) through the Open University to further his knowledge within the field of technology-enhanced learning and teaching.
