Learning Technology Skills Developer

Stephanie has worked as an IT Trainer in both Further and Higher Education for 15 years. Her career has seen her work as an IT Teacher supporting ‘Silver Surfers’ at evening classes to teaching inmates at local prisons.

Stephanie first joined Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) in November 2006 as an IT / ECDL Trainer directly supporting students in the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing.

From this, her role moved to supporting professional services staff in their use of Microsoft applications and core University systems to then managing the IT Service Point within the IT Department.

Most recently she was appointed as a Learning Technology Skills Developer (LTSD) working as part of the Learning Technology Team. Her role underpins the work of the Digital Academic Developers by delivering instructor led sessions on core learning technologies.

During her time at CCCU she has played an important role in large projects such as the move from XP to Vista to Windows 7, Outlook and Office365, as well as playing a supporting role on the DEBUT project.

She is an Ordinary Member with the Association for Learning Technology (ALT), a Member (MBCS) of the British Computer Society (BCS), and holds a Certificate in Education (CertEd) and a Diploma in Management.
